The orientation day was for existing, new and 'check parracan out' folk. The format was quite interactive and allowed time for people to speak and hear what we individually think about climate change and how to work on solving it.
We also ran through the ParraCAN culture, milestones we have achieved as a group and our vision.
The empowerment framework we did, as well. It allowed people to review their own vision and goals in relation to climate change or anything else.
Finally we ran through skills/interests/experience and saw how those matched up with what we were doing at ParraCAN so people could get underway with action that is appropriate to them.
